Stolen Swift

Folks, my black Swift was stolen in Seattle last Sunday morning--of course it will likely never be seen again but if it happens to pop up somewhere please let me know.

Black, steel, chainstays painted gray.

Here's a photo:

Eastlake. On the plus side it's not like there are lots of them around, so maybe there's some hope...

Thanks for keeping on the lookout!

I am on the other side of the country so unfortunately I am not much help, but for what it is worth, I feel you pain. It sucks to get our bike stolen. Hope it is returned to you.

Ironic that the thread above this one is a debate on locking folders...

Good luck, hope you find it. Keep an eye on CL and ebait, including listings for frames and parts.

I know, I saw that just after I posted. What timing! In my case the bike had a u-lock around the frame connected to a cable locked to a wall mount. Snipped the cable and he rode off (caught on video) with the u-lock on the frame.

Sucks. I'm all for corporal punishment for bike thieves. I'll keep my eyes peeled down here in case the bike finds itself in Portland.

If I meant capital I wouldn't have said corporal. I'm not in favor of capital punishment for any crime, even bike theft.

I am in favor of severe physical punishment of bike thieves, however.
