Attach Planet Bike Super Blinky taillight to Citizen Bike Gotham 2? Seatpost too big

Apparently the seat post on the Citizen Bike Gotham 2 is 34mm, while the standard bike seat post is 30.4mm (or something like that). I've got this awesome tail light, but can't connect it to my bike!

If anyone has found a bracket that will accommodate this light, and successfully allow it to be added to this bike, let me know how you did it! I called Citizen Bike, and they referred me to Knog, which makes silicone-stretchy lights, but (A) I already have an awesome light to use, and (B) they weren't sure how thick a seat post it could attach to.

If you can find yourself a Dahon rear reflector, the seat post type, then you can bodge a DIY solution. I did it with a friend's cherrybomb.

Check at a bike shop to see if they have a clamp that big. Then bolt it to the part that holds your light. Ceck the internet for "P clamps" or "bike taillight bracket" etc.

You can use a velcro strap that fastens around the seatpost and threads through the clip on the back of the light.

The seatpost of the Gotham II looks it comes standard with the rear reflector. You could just replace the reflector with the PBSB mounting clip. The knurl or the jaw may not be exactly the same, but you could probably work it in to make it sit properly.

Perforated strapping used for holding up pipes. It already has holes drilled into it. If you make a bracket and paint it black it does not too terrible. kinda

rear rack and PB rack mounting hardware.
Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)
