The kid is old enough for a bike with pedals, so we get her a Specialized Hotrock 16" for Christmas.
She's excitedly goin over the finer details, pink basket, Disney princess bell, etc.
She then stops and looks at me with a slightly puzzled look on her face and asks, "Daddy, how does it fold up?". I had to promise her that her next bike would be a folder.

It will grow with her better, but just don't let the boys, borrow it to jump stuff, riding it.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
That is adorable.
My daughter got her first folder this year... a vintage Raleigh 20 that I had purchased and that was waiting for her to grow into it.
