What do you think about this? It is a local Los Angeles Craigslist ad for a Bike Friday in Upland CA (a easterly located suburb of Los Angeles).

It looks like a 'Medium' frame and in very nice shape indeed. I think they were in the $600-$699 range when new - an older version of the recent Pocket 8, which sold for $899 when discontinued. Has older stem riser, 'mixed' rear triangle design and a FOLDING seat mast (which only comes on custom bikes these days). Rear Triangle has current seat stays, but Pocket Llama chain stay design, which makes installing a kick stand difficult at best.
ADD: Bike appears from 2001-2002 era. Walter, at Bike Friday, had one for sale about a year ago for $450. They are all RED, by the way.

Sadly, the frame is a bit too large/stretched out for me. But if the ad is still up (as of this date and time it is), perhaps someone else might be interested in it that fits the bike. And this thread will be worthwhile.

I saw the ad yesterday. It's a nice bike but certainly dated. I estimated it at about 10 years old when I saw the ad. I think it's a fair deal but nothing that I would necessarily jump at.
