Obviously they're not Brompton. I've not seen the design before, it's compact but probably heavier than the Brompton version. The bearing is replaceable.

Interesting. The seller is a couple of miles for me, and there is the possibility it might be easy to fit a powergrip on one of these (posted on this elsewhere). Have contacted seller to ask more, will let you know what I find out, if anything.

I think the design was copied from VP-117A

I asked the seller:
hi, is this an actual Brompton pedal. It might help if not, because I am looking for pedal to add powergrips too (might you have a side on pic?)
Do you know the weight and might you have a buy-it-now price (I live in M20 so can even collect).
Reply:
Hello, they are not marked as brompton, but this is taken off a brompton bike, and im not sure if there are any other fold away pedals with the same square attachment. The weight i don't have anything to weigh it with, but they feel very weighty compared to your average pedal. i'll upload a 3rd picture on sunday for you from a side view.

The Brompton folding pedal is about 280 grams including bolt AFAIR so odds are reasonable that this won't be significantly heavier.
The seller seems more than a little peculiar in that he has a bunch of listings like this and each has an image of two pedals rather than one. Where did he find all these Bromptons to remove these from? Surely these are sourced from the far east, Alibaba or such like.

Reads like the guy is saying because hwe took it off a brommy it must be theirs , but its not.
This is like saying :just because a magic bullet laid unmarked
on JFK's Gurney in Dallas, along side his body., it must have come out of him..
a 3rd party seems more likely ..
Brompton's pedal presses the bearing in to the piece that carries the pins ,
It's fine, doubt you ever need a replacement.
If you do the bearing can be pressed back out by a Machine shop..
or there is a sub assembly including the bearing
If you want 2 to fold there is a RH threaded plug to fit the same pedal
on the other side.
Seen via SJS.co.uk.
not sure, there is a Ti version for the right side , there is in Steel.
weight issues ?, get a pedal wrench and just replace the folding ones
with something else.
