Current bspoke Brompton Wait times
Hi all,
I just ordered my first folding bicycle! A British Racing Green Brompton H6R w/ T bag, telescopic seatpost and Schwalbe Marathons. Of course, given the fact that it's the new H type, my local dealer had none in stock. As with most other folks, Brompton is saying it should be 4-6 weeks before delivery.
I know it will depend on location but was wondering if other recent buyers can confirm that they actually received their Brompton within 4-6 weeks of ordering. I'm concerned that maybe because I have ordered the new H type it will take longer. Also, I have read a few other users who have experienced much longer wait times.
Thanks in advance

Brompton Wait times
Hi I ordered my Brompton from Calhoun cycles. And I received it via mail just before six weeks. I ordered it Thanksgiving weekend and I believe I could have gotten it in 5 weeks or under but for the Christmas Holidays. Mine was a raw M6R reduced gearing. Good luck with getting yours - it's certainly seems to be a very long wait before getting it! I received it the third week of January.
BTW, on week four-five - a guy in LA (where I live) was selling the same bike used on Craigslist for 1100....he bought for his girlfriend and she ever used...I really wanted to get it.

Well, hopefully you'll enjoy it immensely when it finally shows up - I took mine immediately to Hawaii and fell in love.

Thanks. I suspect there is little chance I won't. I'm already planning multi-modal trips around the states and Europe.

I spoke to two different bike stores in two different states in the US, and both said the same thing: 4-6 weeks, but it usually shows up in week 5.

I ordered mine on February 15th from Flying Pigeon LA in Highland Park, got the call that it has come in yesterday, and will be picking it up today.
