Well I just read a post from Josh Hon over at the Tern forum where he said that only flat bars can be fitted to the Physis handlepost. He was talking about the Link P9, so I assume this is true for the other Link bikes as well. Only flat handlebars work because the Physis handlepost's top latch (which secures the handlebar) is not hinged.

Thanks for going to the trouble of getting the information for me. I had spent hours looking over options and trying to figure things out. so it was a relief to find a bike that was comfortable right away and forget all the worries of retrofitting things. So pleased that we accepted the fact that we won't be seeing the bikes for quite a while. I was so sure that one of the terns or dahons would fit...
