Folding Bike Accessory Retailers-Ship to Canada

Hi guys, having some frustration finding a good retailer with lots of tire/tubes inventory and decently priced that will ship to Canada and preferably via USPS. Dealt with Niagara Cycle Works but they only ship UPS which adds $32 on a $66 order. USPS is definitely the way to go but stumped so far. Any help/recommendation would be appreciated!

I ll do mail ..... invoice actual freight ..... for small stuff its 17 dlr ..for tires and carriers anywhere from 30 to 40 dlr
thats exactly what it costs me, no added profit center here .... And it doesnt make any difference how big or small the order is ...
Its unfortunate that shipping charges are what they are, but cant do not much about it either.

Brompton? check in with CM Wasson in Palo Alto Cal. I get stuff from him,
or Clever cycles , of Portland, Or Calhoun's in MN.

One difference to commercial shippers, is convenience, UPS picks stuff up,
Free, when they drop other stuff off..
often you have to go to the PO to send parcels out.

Are you close to Buffalo N.Y and can cross the border easily? It's best if you have a mailbox in the US and have them ship stuff there. You then cross the border, pick up stuff and then cross back. It's almost worthwhile to apply for a Nexus pass which I have and that cuts a lot on the border line up. You also know that our exemption rate has increased after June 1st. which means you can buy more stuff and not pay duty and tax after 24 to 48hrs stays. Sometimes, I'm saving so much on bike parts shipping as well as the parts prices from all places that I rarely buy in Canada anymore.
I also buy stuff from ThorUSA and if you spend more than $200, he'll ship it for free. His priority US mail can be insanely shipped fast to US mailbox -- forget USPS. Besides, I kind of like to deal with the lady on the phone of ThorUSA-- she's nice and somewhat flirtatious too to get you buy more stuff. Opps, sorry Thor; is that your lovely wife -- Mrs KHS fielding calls? Please send my best regards!

Thanks Thor, but I was after a 451 Primo Comet and it looks like you don't carry that but I will keep your store in mind. I don't live near the border so the post box doesn't work for me unfortunately. Looks like a dead heat between Niagara Cycle Works and Calhoun's price wise.

If there are any other suggestions apart from the above (I checked out Wasson and Clever Cycles as well) please keep them coming. We should have a sticky on retailers, or perhaps there is one, I just haven't found it yet.

Thanks!

Have you thought about giving some business to a Canadian company? I know a shop in Vancouver that carries tubes and tires in 20" (406 and 451). Cambie Cycles is a recumbent and folders dealer and they ship worldwide.

I will check them out, thanks. They don't show a part listing of their inventory but I will contact them.
