Brompton maximum weight limit when folded?

I went to a really busy restaurant today. There was a table open with no chairs. Since I had my Brompton folded & carried in with me I thought about keeping it folded and using it as a chair.

Wouldn't you know it, a chair became available right when I got to the table so I didn't need to use the Brompton that way, but I'm curious, does it have a weight limit when it is folded?

Don't do it!

Recently I have read a post and seen pictures of bent "ears" where the transit wheels attach. Can't remember where the post was sorry.

Regards

Jerry

Ive made a patch*, to prevent that spread as the wheel support,
J bend tube bends further.
then restored a weakened point, I bent them back a bit.. should be fine now..

* strip of steel, holes in the ends, then, the ends folded down,
so the distance between the wheels cannot spread .
