Hi All,
I'm in market for a inexpensive, low maintenance folding bike.
These two used models for sale seem to fit the bill:

Any recommendations on either of those? Or, neither, if such, where would you look for a new model?

the Dahon product line has improved,
over over those made 25 years ago.

Thanks folks, I haven't heard of these companies so hoping had some feedback. New Dahon's go for like 600, so I figured a bill for a used one might be okay, as long as it rides.
Application is short distance. I.e. I ride to the local bar, have a beer, run into friends that want to hop to other bars, but they are in cars.
I throw my bike into the trunk and away we go. Then, later, I can open their trunk and ride home.
Thus, I wouldn't need anything too hefty, since it'll be short rides and infrequent.

the Worksman is the simpler , just 1 hinge,
and a coaster brake rear hub, I guess.

CL says do biz in person, so go test ride both of them ..
only you can judge if it fits.

car trips have a designated driver to stay under the DUI limit?

Either one. Both are reputable companies, but I wonder if Worksman actually built that one or had it rebranded. That is a generic U folder, I have several of them, under a variety of names and they range from POS to interesting.

Go ride them and see if you can get $25-$30 off the price.

Interesting comment in the ad for the Worksman... ???

Yeah, those poor drivers that need to call a cab.
Actually, you reminded me of a taxi service I had heard about, would do something like this.
I.e. you call bike taxi service instead of car cab. The (cabbie) guy rides up with his folding bike. He drives your car home with bike in the trunk. You pay him and he bikes away.
So, the plus is the drunk driver has his car at home, rather than have to find it next day as he would with conventional taxi service. Also, some places don't allow overnight parking so bigger incentive to call the cab in first place. Not a bad idea, dunno if it's still around.

hard to tell from a photo, but for some reason looking at the seatpost on the Dahon looks slightly bent from the seat tube. otherwise decent enough bike with the single speed and will definitely be low maintenance. but ditto - you could probably work him down under 100.

some of the Taxis , here, have bike racks on the back,
& Busses have racks on the front.

Thanks Aaron, that's kinda what I wanted to know, if the brands were solid. As I mentioned, I dunno much about folding brands, so a half-decent brand is all I'm looking for. The condition, I'll have to evaluate on test drive.

Regarding the advertiser's comment, my guess was he was answering two questions at same time, as in "Do the tires hold air and why are you selling it?"
