Who has the hook up on Dahon Speed Uno?

I want one of these cool bikes. What's dealer price on these? Who can hook me up with one? Thanks

I would definitely swap that rear single speed out for a two speed SRAM Automatix, again with a coaster brake.

Shown fitted with a belt drive on my Moulton TSR 2.

They really are fit and forget. Just ride and it changes (automatically) up/down one gear at around 7-8mph. This can be changed if you check on line.

    Regards

So this bike is $400 no matter where in the world I get one from? Fixed prices?

I've seen them from 399-449, so unless you get them used, yeah that's the price. Also I might add that I don't know of any dealer that has them in stock at all. Trust me, I also wanted one pretty bad to keep around as a beater bike. haha

That's generally the way bike companies do things. It gives brick and mortars the competitive advantage, as well as keeping brand value at a certain level. Same reason why you don't find different prices on current model Trek bikes without Trek's approval of a discounted price. Also, I can't imagine dealers being too keen to share their pricing structures with you, assuming you're talking about cost, rather than MSRP/MAP.

not fixed ... its just what ehe bike is worth :-)
    399 shipped to your door....

I have a bunch coming in about 2 to 3 weeks, loads of them are already spoken, Usually I dont like to do that, but I am taking preorders. If its paid you will be the first one to have it.
Here is how that works ...
Receiving shipment from Dahon..... all fully paid bikes go out absolutely first. the oldest paid bike goes first. Than I email all the folks in my secrect wanted folder..... they will be a couple days later. Until I run out of bikes, Hopefully Dahon has more bikes in stock so I can reorder them ...if not they all went out to other dealers in the meantime.... and I am out of stock again ... :-(
In this case it most likely will be that all bikes Dahon is receiving will be going to the dealers who have orders for them ....
In other words its almost a one shot deal...
If you are now on the fence you should really get going and order ( pay ) for a bike NOW ....
Unless you take chances and have to wait for the next shipment !!!
Keep in mind that these bikes were sold out for at least 6 months, there are a lot of firm orders floating around....

Again sorry for being pushy ....I hate to tell my friends on bikeforum in 2 weeks that they are all gone
