Interbike 2012

Shipping at ThorUSA should work in my absence... :-) but if you have any tech questions just email me
fboat33@hotmail.com
and I will try to give ( short) answers :-)

Now..more important... what are you guys interested in for me to look up and make pictures off and and and
most likely I will post pics on my facebook page .... ( Thor Schaette)
its a semi private fb page, but you are all my family anyhow :-) and bicycles are indeed my life....

Please. anything on Mini Velos would be of interest.

There must be a strange mutation of "Folderitis" that infects us to want Mini Velos. I am on my second one already.

Will send a friend request to you FB page, thanks.

Curious what makes it from Eurobike thread ideas to Interbike, how the market there is indirectly described. Is booth pricing/sqm3 similar to Eurobike?

How would you summarize that in years past ?

Mini-velos, titanium stuff, real road bike replacements that fold (like Bike Friday) and real folds (like Brompton).

I will be sending a Facebook friend request soon.

Hmmm Minivelos, more 451 wheel options (carbon maybe?), carbon forks, and as a very personal request, I love the look of silver carbon stuff (though I know itīs heavier than just regular carbon). The thing is, if I only cared about weight and performance, I wouldnīt ride folders.

Thor
I'm loving the pics -- I do gotta say though, the closeups are such a tease! I wanna see the new bikes in their entirety! (I'm particularly curious about the new Vector; looks like a new chainstay design from the old Vector/Verge)

Might be good to note relevance (folding bike) of 10 tooth cog Sram's got in XX1, closer competition to Capreo. More freehub bodies will be out there to make higher gearing a bit easier.. (of course the 42t part of the equation isn't so interesting to folders, unless wanting to go 1x10 also)

The Biria folder reminds me of the Dahon P8's maybe circa early 2000. The suggested MSRP of $450 hopefully makes it
a successful entry level folder. One thing I like about it is that it uses a standard 100mm hub. Seatpost dia is same as Dahon at
34mm.

I had to visit it twice at the show.
