Tern new cargo bike (Tern Joe and Xtracycle)

Wow, I couldn't help notice on Thor's Facebook page of the new Tern cargo bike. Cool!! I want that! Finally, I have something in a one piece design.

I've been shopping with folding bikes lately and visiting farmer's markets as we have an extended season in Vancouver, BC, so I can get the freshest goods for cooking.

Speed Duo with a basket is fine for quick jaunts, but the big heavy stuff I use either the Burley Travoy or Maya Cycle with my Mu SL. But this is a 2 piece package which makes reversing the bike out of human traffic a bit of a nuisance, so this Tern when folded will fit into my crossover SUV. Nice. Any spy photos from folks attending Interbike 2012 aside from the one that Thor took?

I take it this is a Joe C21 with an Xtracycle attached to it or a 20" Link 21 with the cargo platform bolted on?

Thanks!

I would think that you could build one with the kit? This way you could use either a Tern or Dahon.

I've seen a few at Clever Cycles in Oregon. Also a lot of cargo bikes in Oregon, so I get a lot of ideas. I like the Tern frame better. A good cargo bike needs a good stiff frame, so I'm eyeing on the whole bike I can try on probably at Clever if they carry the tern cargo complete bike.

Border line ups even with Nexus pass is getting insane! I can scoot across the border with bike and trailer in a jiffy, so a cargo bike makes a good vehicle too.
