Black Giatex 550 Sport - Stretching Bike !!
Found this little gem on the weekend, on a lawn with some other stuff and a "FREE" sign in it.
Owner said it was gifted & simply not used.
Took it home and checked it out. Tightened up clamping devices.
GREAT construction and runs perfectly. Very sturdy & rigid - when clamps properly adjusted.
All 6 speeds shift crisply up AND down and sprocket & tire indications are that it has seen VERY little use.
Folds down to fit into a lunch-pail.

Camping World was selling the 20" inch wheeled version of this bike (red in color) when we purchased our Dahon Boardwalk D7's from them.
The wife was intrigued, but the Dahon's were much better. The 20" version was heavy, and the front and rear wheels were offset (side-to-side)- same as on this one - so it "folds" (actually 'collapses') smaller. Wife learned that if we were going to do more than 20 mile rides, we needed something better than the Boardwalks, too.
Probably good bike for the trunk of your car, though.

Looks like design has now changed a bit- note oblong vs. previously round 'beam'.

I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff, but I'll just say you made an excellent find. I oftentimes leave good stuff outside my house, wait for people to look at it when passing, then tell them it's all good but unneeded. I did that with a 25" Sony tv recently. This, just the same, is a great new toy - ENJOY!!!
