I always loved that idea. It allows more people to get closer to the stage and you get to face every audience member at one time or another.

I've tried wireless but can't get myself to fully trust in them despite their track record of reliability and I find in ear monitors disorienting. I'd make a horrible star.

Product Placement, as a marketing tool, is well established, so It's possible to just borrow one for the show,
to be seen by those thousand or so popmusic fans .. maybe get paid to use it, then give it back..
