Early Dahons dangerous?
I remember hearing a rumor about early diamond-frame Dahons somewhere years ago, that they are somehow dangerous. Is there any substance to this?

if you want to jump curbs or going 50 mile an hour they are certainly dangerous ...
if they would have been too dangerous Dahon would have never survived ...
having said this the newer models are MUCH MUCH nicer. Looks like Dahon is improving their whole line of bikes every year again and again .... unfortunately this means that some bikes gettin up there.

I have an early Dahon 3 speed . I would not say it is dangerous just slow and uncomfortable if any one wants it they can have it cheap.
