Any help tracking down a DAHON Traveller Front Rack? Anyone got a spare?

All,

I'm trying to find a source for the DAHON Traveller Front Rack. I called Dahon and they are out of stock. Thor doesn't have any either.

Maybe someone here knows of a source or perhaps has a spare they could part with?

Thanks,
Warr

Probably halfway across the world from you, but in stock: http://www.derfaltradshop.de/epages/...jectID=6924411

(a 'real' bike shop and reputable place to buy)

Actually I have one that I got to try on my Swift. It sorta fits with some spacers and slight bending, but I've never ended up using it. PM me if you're interested.

Thank you VM. I haven't heard back from EP, and a local source claims they are "this close" to getting one for me, but if I don't hear from either of these, I'll touch base with you later this week.

BTW, do you know if your old rack is the old style or new style?

Old style:

New style:

Thanks,
Warr

Binwind,

Are you saying you might have a spare rack to offer as well?

Thanks,
Warr

Doubtful- he was a spammer who got caught in the act and no longer a part of the Community.

Argh, BikeForums won't let me send PMs until I've made 50 posts, even in response to PMs sent to me first.

I listed mine on Craigslist; you can contact me that way, and I'll reply from my real email.

EP,

I just sent you an email through Craigslist. It looks like you have the "new style" with the crossbars, and that's exactly what I need.

Thanks for making the effort through the Craigslist posting -- very clever.

Many thanks to everyone, especially Epicyclist, for helping me locate the rack I needed. It is now installed and being used every day during my commute to work.

Cheers!
Warr
