Thanks, That thing is a marvel of engineering! ....and yes, Mr. Moulton would have something to say about it.

Maybe more of a Utility Bike entry, but small wheels, so I'll post it here:

Yasujiro mini cargo bike, from the Soma store.

Wow,almost $2k. That's more than I paid for my Big Dummy.

Wonder if the price is going to drop like the Mini Velo's did?

They just dropped the dealer cost to the point where it should retail for $1600-ish.

Soma Mini-Velos are all gone.

Actually, there was a site selling them for $500. There's still a 53 on eBay for that. I almost bought one,but didn't like the 451 wheels and narrow-ish tire clearance, plus not a fan of canti's. If it had 406's and I could've mounted some 1.6" Marathon Supremes,I would've pulled the trigger.

If you ever do get one, ditch the original Kenda's for some higher-pressure tires.

Yup, I see it now, it's on page 7.

Why would you want it removed?

The Like , does not necessarily include Owning one.. those who own a Brompton,

have already said so in numerous other threads . so why do so again ..

but since you insist..

1 BRG M3L , Ergon GR3 grip , Mountain drive 54t (21.6t) 2 speed crank.
dynamo lights and several bag options for the front carrier block..

Thanks, I'm new to the Folding Bikes board. Just started following it a week ago.

I ordered a custom Brompton S3 two days ago from Switchback Cyclery here in Toronto, Canada. I'll have it in a couple of months, problem is I have to wait 3 months for all the snow to melt and 4 months for warm Spring weather. But by ordering it now I'll beat the Spring rush. Here in Canada bicycle shops are almost empty during the Winter, then first sign of warm Spring weather and the service counter gets slammed 3 deep.

I used search to find and read all posts on the folding bikes board that have Brompton in the title, and it helped me get to know a bit more about them. I'm looking forward to tearing up the bike trails here in Toronto with mine

the prior bike I posted Here..http://www.cyclofiend.com/working/20...clark1110.html

go look

the Newer one Has no rack , but the crankset, shown, was retained ,

(put the OEM 50t back on)

as was the saddle and front Touring Bag..

Background:
spring and fall there is a cruise ship port of call, here, as the tourists Biz are going from
winter tropical home ports, to summer Alaska coast cruises ,
and the reverse at the end of the Summer.

they mostly hit the thrift stores, here, when ashore..

Very nice! But why wait 3 months? All you need is for the snow to melt "enough" and you can be on your way! (Peter from NYCE Wheels has a video of him riding round in NY City in the winter... not sure how you managed...)
