Maybe because more disc brake options? Both my Hooli's will take 26" front wheels.

however...

Tyrell International is seeking to recruit Partners to become Dealers or Distributors in countries and territories where Tyrell has no existing representation.

a few months ago i suggested this to a dealer who frequently posts in this forum. i don't know if he pursued it.

I did, got a couple emails into it. But they are looking for somebody who is lying through his teeth about the amount of bikes he can sell every year, and they want to ship container loads. Seemingly not interested to built up a business relationship which grows slowly and benefecial for both partners growing together in a controlled old fashioned way, meaning hard work ...
Pretty dissapointed ..as I like the bikes. but If I have to buy container loads I design my own :-)

Tyrell - is it necessary to shift into the largest cog (lowest gear) to keep the chain on the bike when the frame is folded?

In the real world (as opposed to the folding bikes forum) patents cover specific design elements rather than general concepts and expire in under a couple of decades rather than continue in perpetuity.

I know. This is mere facetious spillover from the Curl/Brompton noise going on elsewhere around here...

i hope it offers better ride and handling than their previous suspension design.

Glad you like my bike! True I did want the length of the RSW steerer but as originally built it used a stock Stowaway front end. I used the folder frame because it has to go in my car on a very regular basis:

Its still my everyday commuter.

Not a folder, but I really like it.

You can't argue, it has a cool box in it, for them drinks you legally have on a bicycle

Here's the site for the BiCi:
?Basic Conception? Smart Bike by AOAO Studio

I think the 'smart bike' stuff is BS,although if the GPS works right it would be nice to help recover a stolen bike. Having said that,I'm actually kind of interested in the idea of a full carbon/105 mini velo for just under a grand:
