I can only find bad things about it:
* Too short wheelbase, at least for touring
* That main U-tube is badly designed - no room for front mudguard, it goes unnecessarily low, requiring the BB shell to be on a stalk - flexible??
* silly top tubing - all the disadvantages of a double diamond frame, ie high step-over, with no apparent necessity for it??
* Can't say for sure but I'm reasonably sure the BB is too low - pedal strike city.
* seat is so far backwards that a slight incline will result in tendency to wheelie.
* Yeah, no front brake. No brake (safety critical) backup???

- all the bikes are have a certain brilliant simplicity... yet ultimately not functionally very good bikes. But somehow I still like 'em. Not like them as in go buy one - but enjoy that the designer took such a different path.
Their target? Perhaps someone who will pedal a few urban blocks, and wishes to arrive in perceived megahip style. One of the bikes on their site is $12,000.
I suspect they really don't know what the word "touring" means in bicycle use.

The current Brompton crank will take any 130 bcd chain ring. Dura Ace or etc. The frame BB Shell is British standard thread
so the field of options is as wide as your wallet can open ..
chain line is very close in. the rear dropout spread is a bit less than a track 120 width, after all.

I think you have to get quite a narrow botom bracket axle width for a Brompton. If you do this you can do what you like. I could be wrong be being as a standard road race crank didn't fit my Mezzo I feel the same will apply to to a Bromie. I also needed to add a bott. Bracket spacer to clear the chain stays for my carbon crank upgrade.

Not much info on this English bike's fold.
I suspect you remove the seat, and then fold the stays forward against the bottom of the downtube.
That's a great fold design I've never seen before.

Notice the unequal roller wheels to keep folded package stable in last photo. Should have copyrighted that......is it to late to sue, I would just be happy with a few free samples......

I like the 20" verital fold so smaller foot print. Dahon should take note here. The 16 inch looks like a blend of mezzo/brompton jiffo helix that seems perfect.

Saw this at a department store today. A cool grocery bike for ~$300.
I think it would be better if the bottom of the basket were the frame tubes but I guess the company was afraid of people loading it too much and crashing.

That's much nicer but $1700 seems pricey for a utility bike that gets locked up outside a market.
I hope it does well but am skeptical.
Would be nice if they had a cheaper derailleur version.
