Good used pocket rocket deal?

I'd love to get a used pocket rocket. This one's relatively cheap, but I don't know if its good for the money. (For example, is it old and outdated?) can anyone here advise?

You can compare with "pre Loved " re-sales through Bike Friday themselves, for price..

1), they have frame material wrong, and the brakes .. question: why dont they know?

NB; 56 cm, is a horizontal distance, is the equivalent to top tube length of a normal bike ..

I still ride my Pocket Rocket and I bought it as a preowned from Bike Friday in 1994/5 about, might have been 1996. It is frame number 2 and still rides fine with normal care and maintenance. It has gotten upgraded parts over the years but because Bike Friday uses standard parts adaption has never been a problem. Roger

Roger,

Seems you live near Chicago–so do I. I just PM'd you, but basically want to know if I buy a used pocket rocket will you take a look at it with me and advise me? (The first time I might need your help with assembly even.)

Sent you a reply. Also for that price you can get a used one from Bike friday that will meet your needs and Bike friday actually knows what they are selling which the Ebay seller does not. Apparently to me they are a reseller just flipping a bike. Roger
