Ortlieb Mini O alternatives for Brompton

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative to the Ortlieb Mini O bag for the Brompton. I want a smaller bag and not the larger frame bags. However, I really don't want to pay $150 for a bag. I searched the internet and don't really see anything. I did notice that for $39 Brompton sells the luggage frame that you can put a larger bag on it, but nothing smaller.

Thanks in advance,

JT

it's probably of no help to you but I just bought the frame and use a couple of luggage straps to strap whatever bag I want to the frame. It's a bit more hassle but i didn't think any brompton specific bag were value for money.

People have used the bag-frame to clip and tie other bags onto.

You can Zip tie a plastic basket on there , and put any bag you have into it..

I got one of the older steel bag frames, and had someone braze on a wider bottom shelf

It lets me use a messenger bag on the rack, then use the shoulder strap to carry it..

the current bag frame is 2 nylon pieces, the clip that fits on the one and the frame, and a handle.

You can drill out the pop--rivets, cut the aluminum tubes shorter, and re drill new holes ,

and install new poprivets .. NB the S bag frame is already shorter in height ,

you can make it narrower too ..

FWIW there was A Klick Fix adapter to use an R&K made handlebar bag
a Metal shoe around the frame clip, to a round tube like a handlebar.

It fits to their bags and, + given, I can fit Ortlieb bags on my R&K bar bag mount..
so somewhat indirect.. as the Mini O is based on their Bar bag..

Thanks all. The issue is the frame is so big and if I strap a smaller bag to it, I think it would look pretty dumb. I wish they would make a mini frame so you could add smaller bags. That would be nice.
