Giant Expressway Rack?

I've been trying to find a rack for my Giant Expressway. Tried my LBS, Giant USA and the internet to no avail. Why are Giant replacement parts so proprietary that they can't be found? Looks like I may have to find a frame builder to fabricate one unless someone has an idea of how I can mod some other rack. I want one to fit the mounting lugs already on the seat stays not one that attaches to the seat post or the wheel QR. All suggestions are welcomed.

I like that rack. I'll have to call Thor and talk to him about it.

Thanks
