Brompton Fold Trouble
Iím having some troubles with the fold on my brompton. I have a 2012 M6R. When folded the bike should roll freely on the wheels of the rack without the front wheel turning. This isnít happening. The front wheel turns and the spokes rub on the chain for the IGH.
When I first purchased the bike this didnít happen.
Looking at the fold, it appears as though the frame needs to be a few millimeters higher to allow clearance. I have inflated the tires, ensured the hook for the front wheel is properly seated (there isnít anyway for it to be unseated), and conducted a thorough inspection of all the folding bits.
Iím lostÖ.any suggestions? Pictures would be nice.
I think the Assumption is the Problem. It's that .. Should.
When folded the bike should roll freely on the wheels of the rack without the front wheel turning.
like below post.
did you jam the seat post into the floor?
You buy their rubber bung to be a brake to keep it from rolling,
then pull it up a RCH so it will roll ..

Is the seatpost all the way down? This prevents the bike from rolling away while folded. If the seatpost is raised a touch, the bike should roll ok.

The following video will show you the proper way to fold a Brompton.
I had to Google "RCH". Stay classy, Bob!
