kinetix pro's with kojak's any one recommend Ultremo ZX 20 x .90 ?

kinetix pro's with kojak's any one recommend Ultremo ZX 20 x .90 ?
Has anyone tried : Ultremo ZX 20x0.90 (23-406 ETRTO) weighing 145g on the kinetix pro rims? I have a set of Kojak's 20 x 1.35's now. Is the rim to wide ? Can they be used with the lightweight tubes or must they be tubless? Thanks in advance...

If your wheels are the same 14mm width as my SPTT's,then it shouldn't be a problem:

YMMV,but I wouldn't go any narrower than 1 1/8" tires;on my old Mu SL I swapped the stock 1 1/8's for 1.35" Kojaks and noticed the ride def improved. Skinny,high psi tires on a small-wheeled all alloy bike are not going to give a good ride on anything other than glass smooth roads.

The Ultremos ride really nicely for such a skinny tyre, except on bad chipseal. My lady runs them on her Moulton, so not quite the same situation as on a non-suspended bike though.

Sorry for my ignorance LWaB, but what does chipseal? Is that another term for asphalt we use in the USA?

chipseal is famous around here for ruining otherwise fine back roads. Cyclists and motorcyclists hate it. And if it's done with rough aggregate, it'll wear down your nice new tires prematurely.
