Looking for carrying bag suggestions

I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought a $40 bag off a website in China to carry my Dahon folder. After just one use the seat post is already poking a hole out the bottom and the sprocket has shredded the inside lining. Is this standard behavior for these kinds of bags? Are there any really sturdy bags that people can recommend that won't make me look like a walking advertisement?

DIY , local project?
Know anyone with an industrial sewing Machine? Upholstery and Sail /Marine canvas sewers ..
Boston has Boats..

you may have to reinforce patches against sharp chainring teeth.. ,
that no one remote can guess where to place them ..

And you can get the sewing person to use Heavy Canvas.. and Leather .

I bought a $25 dahon ebay bag, same junk with rips the first week of use.
The Tern bags seem durable although I don't use mine often to really give good feedback.

I've been pretty happy with http://www.amazon.co.uk/Outeredge-20.../dp/B0011FERCA

I've only used it for travel, but it's been on planes quite a few times. It's developed a small hole, but not enough to cause me any concerns about flying again.

Wow, you could go on a lot of exhilarating bike rides for that kind of dough
