OK, Aka 'minivelo' around here..
seems Asia has little need to make big frame sizes of those.. . so they're short in both directions ..

Funny thing is the wheelbase of my mini velo is (1040mm) longer than my 700c road bike its just shorter overall beause of the wheels. The soma mini, the mercier nano, and the dahon midtown minis are/were available in multiple frame sizes, not sure about the other minivelo in japan.

According to Boma website, my wheel base is just under 1m @ 96.7cm
Can someone double check my spoke length calculations please?

Ok...........your bike friday must be twitchy as hell........seeing as it has no wheelbase, does that make it a unicycle
I find wheelbase just one of many factors that can profoundly effect ride quality specificly the stability of the bike and the twitchness, more so than wheel size. I was trying to illustrate that not all minivelo bikes are tiny short and uncomfortable, if you prefer I could quote you the effetive top tube length of my bully 573mm(22.6") add to that a 100mm stem and a 20mm offset seat post and I guess you have a better idea.

Yes the part I use for fit, is the cockpit dimensions .. top tube length (if a diamond frame seat post length aka size factors in )
well not if you were 5'6" as a lot of the asian builders and customers are ..
a BTO Bike Friday Pocket Rocket can be made in an XXL size, if required ..

So ran the numbers on a spreadsheet, and confirmed the lengths, from Sheldon Brown's website. So should be more reliable.
So what lengths should I be rounded the spokes up / down and what nipple length?
I can get 14g stainless in 182 / 184 / 185mm
and Nipples in brass 12 / 14 / 16mm

Sorry been a while since an update.
Anyhow, some other bits came today by courier. The delivery van driver asked "Are you blind, need some help with that?" "No, what you look like when a parcel is a day late."
I was half asleep trying to stay awake, waiting for the bugger.
Anyhow, got some cheap SRAM Aero shifters w/ Jagwires of eBlag near mint.
Charge Bullhorns,
Velo Orange 100m 17+/- Polished machined Alu stem
Charge Leather Ti Seat.
Velocity 406 rims
Hope hubs.
Spyre Disc brakes.
Dia Compe 139 Brake levers
SRAM Rival groupset (not in pic)
I can now order me stem spacers 65mm of them (glad i waited).
The wheels have 14g plain HT Stainless spokes x32, and got them made by Pete Matthews, a very old but well known professional champion cyclist here in the UK.
Time to order some more parts and send me into an early grave. With the staying up, and the waiting, and puffy eyes, and the jumping outta the seat as the door bell makes you crown, the funny walk to the door.
Working in America for new years, so going pick me up a Spurcycles bell, whilst I'm there.

Wheels and tyres done w/ cranks/ cassette. Got everything on the floor in front of me to finish the bike, bar the headset spacers.
example
Got this really nice seatpost, but doesn't fit. 31.8 outta diameter but seems to be a 27.4mm inner and not 27.2mm that I thought
I shouldn't have any problems with some velo orange SS braided cables... oowww
example
as i'm using the jagwire shifter mounts, being the cables are 1.2mm
Should be done this month, in time for fairer weather?

Right so the front dérailleur didn't angle right against the chain set, and the chain was rubbing the bottom of the cage.
That beautiful seat post also, was too small and I bought a 27.4mm Thomson Elite
I Tried an SRAM angled spacer, which was absolutely useless. You'd need to space the dérailleur towards the rear of the bike around another 2 inch to get them to line up.
Got in contact with Tyrell Japan, and they have been really helpful. Had to live in Japan to order off their website, but they sorted it all out for me, and I have one on my bike as of today
I'm so chuffed, you can clearly see it lines up, Pre-angled / setback. So just cable up, tape up bars, and should be good to go

I cocked up so build been delayed a little.
Just been down the road for the 1st time on the bike and 1st time in spds.
Lets say the seat needs adjusting, as it's trying to castrate me more than normal.
20" with narrow bars, makes it very hairy. That also the brake pads need bedding in.
I'll tape her up, and she's good to go.

I wrapped the bars evenly, but not bad for a 1st attempt, whilst using all the tape
I'll cycle somewhere nice and get a good pic in for you lot.

school holidays, so only really a teething run. Nephew down park.
Few tweaking on settings, still adjusting seat. Getting right friction on bar end shifter, and top stop height on large from chain ring.
