Can't wait to add to my collection.

Great. When you get it, please take some box-opening photos. I'm curious about how well they survive the shipping in the box. Paul Pingis said when his arrived, one of the trolley wheels was bent out of position, by shipping damage I presume.

Mine is currently on a ship on the way from China to the Philippines, still.

Nice photos comparing the "Q Bike" (not the manufacturer's name, which is "Freeride", just the bike owner's nickname for the bike because the wheel rim and fork strut resemble the letter Q in folded condition) versus the Brompton, in folded condition. Thanks for posting that link.

I looked again at the listings for the bike on AliExpress and TaoBao, and I notice some discrepancies in the stated weight limit. One place says that the maximum rider weight is 100kg and another says 75kg. That's a big difference, especially because the Asian population tends to be smaller than the average US person. I looked up the weight distribution of males and females in the US who are aged 20 years and older. The median (50% percentile) of females is around 75kg. For males, 75kg is about the 25th percentile. In other words, if the weight limit is actually 75kg, the bike is only recommended for a maximum weight which excludes about 75% of male adults and 50% of adult females in the US population (based on data collected in 2007 to 2010). Among children, they reach the 75 kg weight around age 17 (males) to 18 years (females). 75 kg is 165 lbs. Source: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/series/sr_11/sr11_252.pdf. I'll try to resolve the discrepancy between the weight limits on these sites by consulting the factory manual that I hope comes with the bike. My Freeride bike is scheduled for delivery today to my door.
