Anyone know where a Black Brompton S6R might be?

I just got my dream (Well close enough) Brompton. Raw Lacquer S6R. Problem is I can't seem to find a black S6R for my girlfriend. She can't justify the extra $200 for the raw lacquer so I'm trying my best to find her a black version.

Anyone know of where one might exist? There are over 100 dealers in the us and 99.99% of them don't keep online inventory. Such a bummer. I will try to call a bunch tomorrow, but was only able to catch a few west coast shops today before closing and they were out.

Besides Black; Orange, Cobalt Blue and White are also no extra charge. Just a thought.

Yeah... can't imagine a girl being set on black and black only. The orange in particular is very nice.

try Find a dealer | Brompton Bicycle and ask via their websites

I've done business with CM Wasson in Palo Alto , Cal , and Clever cycles in Portland OR..

I assume you know that you can order whatever you want, if you're willing to wait. I bought locally but second the recommendation of CM Wasson - excellent service for some accessories / spares.

Also, might be possible to find an -L or -E from somewhere that has rack / fenders in stock. I forget if the fenders are identical between -R and -L, but I'm thinking not. If you follow the suggestion of switching bars, you'll also need to replace or modify all the cables (but I would expect any dealer to know that).
