Sizing A Fuji Marlboro Folder and other options

Hi,
I've been doing a lot of research and I want a folder that's affordable and easy to get parts for. I can't afford a Xootr/Swift so I'm looking at the Fuji folder however my inseam is 27.5" and I only see the 20" bikes around.

Will my 27.5" inseam give me clearance on a the 17" version for the Fuji Marlboro frame?

Thanks.

IDK do you have to smoke em to get the bikes? I've never seen one in person, ie, the bikes .

Generally, many folding bikes are only a product , made in 1 size only ..

Helpful as always fietsbob.

Doubt it would fit you,I had one of the larger ones and wound up giving it to my Dad. I'm 6' and he's 6'1". It fit us just fine. Even if you could do the standover,I think the TT would be too long.

Have you ridden the 17"? Height doesn't tell you someone's inseam.

Can't find a Fuji Marlboro 17" to test at the moment. This is why I made the post.
There's plenty of the 20s but they are too large.

I see you're not interested in being helpful.

How can I when I've never seen one ?
you even have a seller in mind?

offer your online data source of the geometry if you know all about it .

someone in the past said something about theirs , look up that post and ask them directly, perhaps via PM . .

the rest of the owners dont read this list . (at work , every day)

By virtue of the wheels being bigger , the fold benefit is limited, so there is that physical limitation.

Cant be smaller than the wheels ..

I like my small wheel folding bikes ..

I had one of these until a few months ago. They are large bikes and I do not believe that someone with a 27.5" inseem could be comfortable our safe.

Only one I've ever seen IRL was that one. As I said,I think the toptube would be too long on the 20";IOW,you'd be too stretched out on it even if you could stand over it. Bike Nashbar was selling just the 17" frames on clearance a year or two ago, might be able to contact their tech folks and see if someone remembers what the standover was.

BTW,our inseams are 33 and 34" respectively.

Then why respond with a comment like that? I've never seen a 17,but I've owned a 20 so I can at least make an educated guess that someone who's obviously alot shorter than me isn't going to fit. You haven't offered anything useful.

I have one. Looks like this:

As to sizing, it's unclear which size this one is! I'd guess it's the 17", but who knows - measures ~18" c-c and ~19" c-t, so not sure which measurement is being used by the manufacturer.

I measure a standover height of 29" on this one. If you're running a 27.5" inseam, likely won't work for you.

Another concern is the top tube length which I measure at 22". I think you'll be way too stretched out unless you have long arms and a long torso.

That sounds like the one I gave to my Dad,which would make it the larger model.

Well, I found a smaller Fuji today. It fit me perfectly but it was sold. Some tiny Asian girl bought it just before I got to the bike sale in New Paltz. I think I'm going to go with a BMX bike and put a quick release on the front. These are much easier to find. I'm sure this will fit in my car just fine.
