I have the same exact bike. Bought it in chicago about a month ago and paid $325.

I have the same frame.
FWIW, the rear triangle is STEEL, unlike the current aluminum ones.

Various sources including Bikepedia and BicycleBlueBook say it's a CX, which were sold in the early 2000s. BicycleBlueBook gives a book value of around $100 depending on condition, but they do tend to lowball prices on all used bikes. It's worth whatever somebody's willing to pay for it. If you're lucky, you might be able to find someone who wants a Montague and has some decent components laying around, but doesn't want to pay $1000 for a new one with only a passable mix of components that he's going to rip out anyway.

How does the quick release joint work on these? Is it a screw or some sort of cam mechanism?
