Anyone have a Dahon vigor p9?

I am considering one as a round the doors bike and commuter as well as a xootr swift, the dahon is cheaper and looks better, but the xootr seems invincible if a little dated looking unless its had some bling thrown at it, I am mainly after a moulton as a bike to do big distances on and bling up a bit, but fancy a cheaper option around the doors also I can also bling up, I don't need a folder but I want a 20 inch wheel bike and I like these when there done up, I have rode a tern verge 18 so I presume the dahon is pretty similar nice and light, and looks great I just get wary of the scare storied regarding all the joint maintenance and frame snapping stories (terns) etc, currently seeing if I win my moulton on ebay and decide if its worth having 2 bikes, if I don't win I may still get one eventually but desperately need a bike now to get around, no interest in bromptons although some fab custom ones out there I like the look of, anyway I am going off track, anyone have a vigor P9, pro's, cons, pics, bling? let me see them!

That Dahon Vigor p9 is a super buy for what it costs. Bling factor included for sure... I do like the Internal cables for example, the frame looks great, clean lines, big bulky center hinge for a stiff frame, alloy chainguard , brushed alloy with a black underbody. I also like the red accents , but I am not sure about the red insert in the saddle, lol ... this bike grows on me andis becoming a fav ... especially for the low price.
I have the slight impression that this is a very competitive answer to the competitor. I always said that competition is good, and this one seems to proove my point.

although the wheels are nice with new more aero rims in the " Compe" range this bike would be a sure stunner with a red Pro wheel set or Carbon wheels. I have some red ones on order and will put them on when I get them... maybe a carbon fork, seatpost, handlebar, some thumb shifters instead of the grip shifter, maybe even a double chainring .... ..wow... lol

P.s I agree about thumb shifters, I hattteeeeee twist grip shifters, would be first thing to go unless it had a throttle attached to a motor!

420 ish is a super deal, almost as good as the standard price over here in the US 799 dlr. Even the bickrton page for 550 pounds is good.... the superlight version is nice and should fetch the asking price as well ...

as I said these are steals ..lol
