Aftermarket wheelsets for Dahon?

Does anyone know of any aftermarket 20" / 406 wheelsets for Dahons?

I've seen one or two expensive lightweight racing options, but I'm looking more for a sturdy utility / touring wheelset with quality hubs.

Is the Kinetic Comp wheelset the only real option for that?

You can always Hire them Hand Built with your pick of Hubs and Rims..

(my Bike Friday's 406 wheels have German hubs and Sun CR18 rims ..

I saw the Litepro ones on the Thor site, but they were low spoke count and more than I would like to spend for replacement wheels on an inexpensive folder. I can't find any information on wheelsport or faxson wheelsets for dahons.

Hire who? The front hub seems to be the main issue for replacements. I actually have an extra kinetix comp rim with a busted front hub, but I haven't been able to find any good 74mm front hubs with the same spoke count.

Hire wheels built by people, Wheel builders in Bike shops . You have Local Bike Shops, NO?

Bike Friday build their own wheels , they can also build them for others . ( In Oregon.)

Mine have Dyno Hubs . and a 14 speed IGH.

wow I just counted all the different wheels on the website ....
25 different options ..
I think I have too many ..lol

pricewise you cant go wrong with Dahon replacement wheels ....
the JB front wheel is burly ..not the greatest lightweight wise

I could get 74 mm front hubs from phil wood... with 36 holes and a Ryde Andra rim in 406 ... bulletproof for sure, but not the lightest.... and very VERY expensive ...
whats your budget ?

I paid SGD170/USD120 for these Litepro K-fun. Solid and with a normal spoke count and lacing. 74/130mm OLD.

Check the BikeFriday store. They may have 74mm hubs.
