But in terms of price, it's probably more accurate to say this is the Model T of today's bikes:



They just have that classic look like they could have been made in the late 1800's / early 1900's.

I respectfully disagree. This looks very much like a sleek, modern bike rather than the boxy design reminiscent of that era. Even the cool matte black is nothing like the metal black of the Model T.

Maybe. But compared to what we can do today, they are very plain. And I did say "the Model T of today." It's the principle of minimalism, not entirely the esthetic I'm talking about. Although the black does play into that well.

They are minimalistic and, as far as the Speed Uno goes (which does have a boxy look - a straight downtube, yea, they couldn't think of that in 1915), affordable for mostly everyone by today's standards.
