2009 6-speed Brompton + Carry Freedom's Y-Frame Trailer
Hey All --
I'm looking in to getting one of Carry Freedom's Y-Frame Trailers. I'm wondering if getting the y-frame large, which has 20 inch tires, will gel well with my Brompton, which has 16 inch tires.
I'm looking to get the y-frame large because they just came out with a surf trailer that's compatible. I also have a kayak that I would tug along from time to time.
Here's Carry Freedom's website: Carry Freedom Website | a bike trailer revolution
If any of you know of any other great bike trailers (surfboard and kayak compatible) that work well with Bromptons let me know!
Thanks in advance for your input/advice.

I bought A Carry Freedom City, from the US Bike Trailer Shop, (they dont sell them any More) they Used the Chariot Ball shaped elastomer and the hitch .
It, being Ball shaped, the rear fold is unimpeded as the ball will rotate within the hitch.
Thought I saw Carry Freedom's lollypop elastomer was flat with a hole in it , so the rear-fold stand wont work .
there are Kayak Dollys that are made to strap around the boat .. the Burly Flat bed may work as the hitch bar is removable .
then you use the rope on the Bow of the boat, to tie it to the seatpost.
if you worry about the wheel size , there is a 16" 305 is common size tyre a bit fatter than the Brompton 349
Why cannot the Lg Body be shipped with the 16" wheel , did you ask the Seller?
you can get the wheels rebuilt with a 349 rim, if the need for 1 spare tire size is important.
The Flat-Folding City trailer uses a 12.5" wheel FWIW
another ,NL made, Brompton friendly Trailer , you can pack the folded bike in the trailer for travel then take it out to ride.
