Two Savannah men on Monday pleaded not guilty to felony vehicular homicide and DUI charges in the 2014 death of Jose E. Cuervo III in a two-vehicle wreck on Islands Expressway.
OK two men are charged with killing a Jose Cuervo in Savannah, GA.
"It happens all the time" you may think. Oh, no.
Randall Lane Caruthers, 40, and Kenneth R. Rosen, 24, are charged with causing the death of Cuervo while driving under the influence on Feb. 27, 2014
Cuervo, 26, was killed instantly when the 2008 Nissan Sentra he was driving collided with a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe about 10:30 p.m. on Islands Expressway just west of U.S. 80. A third vehicle was struck by debris from the collision. Two others collided behind the crash.
Rosen and Caruthers were detained, and each told police the other was driving, police said.
The indictment charged the pair individually and as parties to a crime.
