Zoo: Why didn't they drive up the first time?

    Anyone watching Zoo?

In Episode 1 the characters park their vehicle on the road and walk through tall grass to get to an abandoned truck from their safari camp. They knew something was up because of the camp being abandoned and lots of blood around.

I figured they could not see if there was obstacles like a ditch or large rock.

Yet in episode 2 they drive right up to the truck for a second investigation.

    What gives?

How would they have an exciting suspenseful run from the lions if their truck was close to the other one?

Seeing how humans outnumber predators and scavengers by a LOT, I think the whole premise of the story is pretty silly....

They explained that in the second episode. Animals are no longer afraid. Things are just getting started. I am sure humans will win in the end but thill then there is hell to pay.

Afraid or not... humans have guns and locked doors. I have to agree that the premise is down right silly.

It's television. Like a dome suddenly appearing over a town is going to happen.

Besides, animal attacks happen all of the time in real life. In an urban environment it is usually dogs.

Ask any touring cyclist that has been stalked by wolves or a mountain lion if it can happen.

Sure, it happens in isolation... But for this instance it is indeed just Television...

    Now for that dome thing...

And it is exactly how it is happening in the mini series.

Admittedly a little stretch as some animals seemed to have developed the ability for long term planning.
