Don't read if you are under 21

Hey kid! That's a fake ID, get out of here!

For everone of legal drinking age with proper ID in these here United States, let me tell you about my good friend, beer. Specifically, Guinness. They throw these neat little shindigs, invite only, free beer and free food for about two hours, and sometimes good schwag as well. T-shirts, bottle openers and the like.
The link below has details on these little parties, and will let you know if there's one in your area (they seem mostly concentrated in big N.A. cities, New York, Boston, D.C., San Francisco, Toronto, Ontario, Chicago etc...)

I plan on at least being at the one 5/19 in NYC if anybody wants to share a pint with me.

real root beer was alcoholic. Root beer was originally a recipe that was made big during prohibition, since it did not require any special brewing equipment.

In fact, it could be brewed in a common bathtub, without any ill effects...well if the bathtub was clean that is

now sarsparilla was the drink that inspired root beer, and it was never alcoholic. root beer was just a slight variation of the sarsparilla recipe.

Nowadays it's all non-alcoholic though. pity too....at least barq's is one of the few with the balls to caffeinate theirs at least.

Well, yes, but the website is restricted to over 21, and the events are in N.A. While i will grant that the legal drinking age in Canada is 18, the website is still >21 specific. So, if you're under 21, don't bother. Wouldn't want to condone lying to an eightteen year old that's old enough to go kill some Iraqis but not old enough for a shot of 'courage'.
