Any one watch all of Anderson Cooper 360° (CNN) today?
Hey-has anyone watched Anderson Cooper 360° on CNN today? I had it on in the background while logging on to work (and surf), with my coffee when I woke woke up.
I caught the end piece regarding some type of an uproar regarding 911 response not being able to locate 2 folks who had called in. The part that I did overhear, noted that at autopsey the 2 folks had died of a methamphetamine overdose (and were in there car). The family was upset that they couldn't be located (the victems didn't know where they were when they called).
Did I miss something? Shouldn't the story have been about the badness of illegal dangerous street drugs? If the family was so upset, wouldn't they have noticed a drug problem, intervened before it became a tragedy? Or was this the first time these folks decided to do drugs, go driving, and happened to overdose?
-Did I completely miss an important part of the story? Perhaps these folks got car jacked by drugged out people (yeah that would be a tragedy).
