Ah, I thought this was going to be about the legislation that's soon to be signed by Bush creating a national electronic ID card and database tracking people wherever they go whenever they want access to national buildings, airplanes, trains, and the like.

It's amazing how few people knew about this and how little media attention it got.

Privacy? What privacy?

Seems useless, I tested it on an old boyfriend. They can't find him in the whole United States.

The ImageAtlas link is pretty cool too. Really clear, close-up satellite photos.

Is cycling some way to stay off the grid or something? I'm on there, both ex's I checked were too.

I read a report on zaba search... nothing earth shattering here. Just a compilation of public records. Driver's license, birth, marriage, death certificates etc.

I was a little worried to see my name in the same city, but with 1946 as a birthdate...

Then I remembered that it was an old address and 4 is next to 7 on a keypad and easy to accidentally hit...

I'm keeping myself from doing any background searches, but it is kind of tempting...

Got to thinking so I looked up one of mine. She has apparently moved 80 miles and now lives ~1/2 mile from my parents house. Now I'm scared to go home!

I checked myself when this was posted on another board.

The info it had on me was 4 years out of date.

Yeah they found me...they had the wrong address and phone number even the wrong year of birth. At least they said I was younger!

edit...woops...they do have my correct address when you look up my husbands name. Yowza, and you can even see the swing set in the back yard from that photo. That is a little scary. Good thing I'm not on anyones "hit list". That I know of anyway!!!
