I'm not sure who set up that ride, her producers should have been beat. She was on a mtn. bike with nobbys and Lance was on his road bike. They could have at least put some less aggressive tires on her bike. She was struggling, wasn't she. She's more a GYm kinda person, of course its a personal gym set up at the office and one at home. She probably has one on her Jet too.

Yes, I have great respect and admiration for her. She came from dirt poor, to become one of the
most powerful women in the world. She gives back, the christmas in Africa was....
I get the biggest kick from her Wildest Dreams shows, I can't help it, I cry through most of it.
I'm one of those people who cry when happy.(I'm also addicted to Extreme Makeover Home Edition)

I would kill for tickets to Oprahs Favorite Things show. I know all of the stuff given away is given by the companies, but name another show that does that.(that isn't a game show)
She honestly tries to educate, last week or th week before, she had on the 2 doctors that wrote
"You, An owners manual. They showed healthy kidneys and unhealthy kidneys, a healthy colon and an unhealthy colon.(that was nasty)
I don't watch religously, only when I'm intrested in the topic. The Bra show was definately enlightening,
I may actually end up in the right size

But it's a talking car! That show was yet another byproduct of obsessive car-culture. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching it when I was a kid. I still sometimes catch reruns on SciFi and giggle at the cheesiness of it all. So of course, I fully expect there to be a major motion picture based on it in the next couple of years.

man this thread has me cracking up. But as for make-up making the woman... my wife didn't wear make up til about 4 months into our relationship. I had to do a double take when I first saw her in make-up, it was like "What did you pod people do with my girlfriend?". She looks good as she is, but I know I am not a typical guy.

But the starter of the thread of women going around educating other women that they are wearing the wrong bra size... just another difference between men and women. It would be a train wreck if some guys were to go around educating guys that they are wearing the wrong undies... rest assured there would be no gropping. If there were that show would turn into "The contender" really quick.

Yeah, i did. I started it because it was about the strangest 10 minutes of television i had ever watched. That is saying a lot considering what is on TV, these days. I thought it was wierd then and still do now. But I suppose if it helps to fix an epidemic of strangulated breasteses, than maybe it was worth it? I suspect far more women were suffering from dirty and worn out bra'itis, either way, it got resolved. Thanks Oprah!

Well, Springer doesn't even bother trying to help women get their bra size correct. He just lets them fly 'em free and fully unencumbered.

Girls can wear the wrong bra size and not know it?

As a completely inept guy, I have accidentally purchased and worn incorrect sizes of shoes, socks, pants, shirts, boxers, and briefs. In no case did it take more than five seconds to realize that the article in question was, in fact, not my size.

Sorry if this is insensitive or offensive or anything but I am really curious now and am in-between girlfriends [1], so I just have to post.

How do you explain all the guys with butt cleavage? Or beer belly guys with bare midriffs because their t-shirts are too small? Or all the cycling clothes that stretched so much they snapped? We really need a What Not to Wear (or whatever it's called) for men--and stat!

I know a lot of guys who could benefit from WHAT NOT TO WEAR. I see lots of guys wearing t-shirts too small for them because they've had t for like 20 years and they think it looks cool on them. A lot of women are bad dressers but women are still more likely to buy new clothes more often, even if they're ugly clothes.

There's one woman in my building I'd love to see on that show. She's really pretty but dresses like nerd librarian. Nothing but beige, brown, tan- not even anything black! And clumpy shoes, Clarks I think that make her sound like an elephant even though she's not heavy at all. And nerd glasses. SHe would look so great with some cute glasses, snazzy colors and some highlights.
You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. That's great...if you want to attract vermin.

I'm sending a picture in of my sister-in-law to What Not to Wear. She's all about khakis and my brother's old underwear long johns for shirts, and that ain't right. She's way too pretty fr that. The only thing that is a problem is that she would refuse to cut her hair. If they touch it, she'd probably shoot them between the eyes.

You really seem to hate men.

Dude, you're not up on current fashions at all! T-shirts 2 sizes too big are OUT this year, and T-shirts 2 sizes too small are IN. Extra points for the 20-year old vintage look, some of those shirts are actually NEW, but they've been aged or distressed to look 20 years old - you pay more for this feature!

And Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was/is the dude's version of Oprah's schtick...

Oprah is definitely no Howard Stern. If He where he’d be out there helping hung guys tidy away their stuff. Besides – you every seen his ass? I saw it once in a ridiculas clip where he descends on a wire onto a stage, damn that was ugly. There’s no amount of make up that is gonna help him. I am certain Oprah’s is better, even if I have never seen it. When I lived in South Africa I was ammused by the lack of concern about women’s breasts. The really hot/taboo thing was thighs. Still I guess that I am occasionally titalated by the flashing of a snug sport bra.
