Florida man's origins?

The Genes Of This Tribe Carry A DNA Of A Third Unknown Human Species
Florida man probably has even more of this DNA to account for his behavior.

If and when the truth comes out on human ancestry, this generation will be long gone. How we "got here" and "where we came from" should be the first few questions in this line of thought.

I don't have the answers but I don't believe we came from "primates" theory because if we did, their organs would be more interchangeable with our than say a pigs, which closer matches our bodies than all primates combined.

Maybe it's best we don't know.... to quote the X-Files, "the truth is out there"

Florida man tries to kiss rattlesnake; gets bitten - BBC News

"One boy said, 'I'm going to kiss it in the mouth,' and the snake bit him in the face," Mr Goff told Action News Jax.

The snake is believed to have escaped after its ordeal.

"Mammals have most of the same genes for similar biochemical and physiological functions. If you look at the details of the genes … there'll be differences between them, but they'll still be doing the same kind of function," says Moran.
"It's a little bit like having a Ford or a Holden — it's still obviously a car but a slightly different version.

But while 20,000 similar genes sounds like a lot, only one to two per cent of our DNA actually encodes proteins. Most of the rest is transcribed into RNA... But we are only just beginning to understand what many other non-coding RNA molecules do"

Do pigs share 98 per cent of human genes? ‚€ļ Ask an Expert (ABC Science)

It's complicated. But mostly it's about uneasiness about killing our close biological relatives.

"Further, this animal species should be inexpensive to feed and breed, with short gestation times and multiple births per litter to achieve economies of scale. Such an animal should also present no immunologic barriers to transplantation into humans. Finally, use of this animal in this manner should engender little or no ethical controversy."

We probably just became more aware of him, I bet he'd been around for a long time before that.

However the Star Trek universe does have an in-universe explanation why there are so many humanoids (and tree-oids, and fish-oids, and so on), and why they can interbreed. It's an unfortunately badly thought-out topic that is only really used for the McGuffin.
