Cryogenic and I took a 15 mile loop at 2am in the morning...the roads were peaceful, we found a nice little backroad loop, it was quite good, a few hills, but nothing too harsh, though I had to walk up one. Oh well just had to express my happiness

Why do that when you could find him in the morning, hanging from a tree, dead asleep? Poke him with a stick, his only thoughts will be "What the hell did I do last night?"

I really miss those days. (nights?) There is this really isolated road called Bennett's Point Rd. 17 miles long, flat, and no traffic. At 2am, it takes another form.

It was kinda neat...it was pretty much flat for the most part, then out of nowhere came these 3 double hills that were short, but steep as they get. I actually had to dismount, but that isn't saying much, I'm a wimp

Years ago when I was on the radio until midnight I'd cycle home after my shift.

I used to get home around 1:00 a.m. It sure was quiet on the roads.

I remember there was one small valley, more a large dip in the road, that used to be very cold. It was a sretch of only about 600 or 700 metres (next to a cemetery) but it was freezing. It was fine during daylight hours.

Thats the glory about BMXs, sitting is optional, if your legs get tired then you sit..easy as that. But you only have one gear though and that sucks.

I could slam the seat on my bike, but I'd lvoe to see you maintain a BMX at 12 or 15 mph out of the saddle for over 20 minutes...it'd be interesting.

No way would I ride my bike at 2 a.m. I am usually awake at 2 a.m. though, and sometimes I go for a drive then. Probably will tonite, in fact....I have some thinking to do, and a drive usually helps.

If I rode my bike on my highway, I would get run over by the crazy teenagers who drive these roads around here!

Riding around town at 2am does have the occasional a-hole, but for the most part its fun. My wife hates it. The one idea I won't tell my wife... hopping the gate at this park that has a nice trail system, to ride the trails at night. Call me crazy but it just sounds like fun.

As for drunks passed out, I have only seen that once. He were asleep at the wheel. They were in the right hand turn lane. The car behind them called, as did I. Three cops pulled up. They woke up the guy, and they were arguing who was going to transport him.... the guy literally had the piss scared out of him.
