Surprise! From Mrs. Hipcycler, Friday is his birthday

Surprise.

Before I head out to work I wanted to surprise you here.

Friday Aug. 26th--#47

Yes, I think I remember some of the people you talk about from here. Folks, he really enjoys his Bike Forums friends. I've heard him talk about a rad, patriot, zig, vw, a pengiun and some foot guy who was going to visit us from New York and many others.

Happy Birthday, and don't forget to go pick out the riding bibs I'm getting for you for your birthday!

I don't know about this one -- that handwriting looks awfully familiar, not to mention the childlike prose. Hip, is that you shamelessly plugging your own birthday after lambasting Rad for doing likewise?

Excellent!

Wait a minute?

childlike prose.---What the heck kind of birthday wish is that?!

Only problem here is I was going to tell people I'm turning 45, not 47. Now Rad knows I'm even older than HIM! Oh well, he's on vacation on an island somewhere this week, maybe he'll never see this.

I did neglect to wish you a happy birthday regardless of who made the original post. Happy Birthday. Don't worry, I'm older than both of you -- by minutes.

Is it appropriate for us younger forum members to counter that with: "Happy Birthday, Hip, you old fart, you!"

Get out for a good ride! The weather here along Lake Michigan is perfect this week for you! Have a great one!

DUDE HAPPY FRICKEN BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

"I Think I'm Going Bald"

I looked in the mirror today
My eyes just didn't seem so bright
I've lost a few more hairs
I think I'm going bald

I think I'm going bald

Seems like only yesterday
We would sit and talk of dreams all night
Dreams of youth
And simple truths
Now we're so involved
So involved with life

Walk down vanity fair
Memory lane everywhere
Wall Street shuffles there
Dressed in flowing hair

Once we loved the flowers
Now we ask the price of the land
Once we would take water
But now it must be wine
Now we've been
And now we've seen
What price peace of mind

Take a piece of my mind

My life is slipping away
I'm aging every day
But even when I'm grey
I'll still be grey my way

just for you (yes its a rush song )

Hip-py Birthday to you. Thanks for all great posts. Careful eating that OCP issue carbon fibre cake, frosted to match your Klein.

Hee hee.

It's a strange, almost uncomfortable feeling when the Mrs. confiscates the BF account isn't it?

So you are older than me - I knew it! I won't tell a soul....

HEY EVERYBODY, HIP IS OLDER THAN ME!!!!!

Happy birthday friend - enjoy it with passion.

Happy Birthday, Hip!!

The day of your birth:

Nurse: Doctor. It's...
Doctor: Yes, I see...
Nurse: I've never seen...
Hip's Mom: Is something wrong?
Doctor: Not at all. The giant head we saw on the ultrasound turns out to be some kind of...
Nurse: Bike helmet. It says Giro on the side. What could that mean?
Doctor: I'm not sure. And ma'am... your baby.
Hip's Mom: Yes?
Doctor: The matching lycra, the matching socks. Hey, I like those.
Nurse: Focus, doctor.
Doctor: He's... I don't know how to say this.
Nurse: He's a...
Doctor: He's a poseur!

Nothing's more OCP than the kit you were born in.
Party like ya stole it.

DRAT!!!!!!!!!!!
How does he do it????
Rad found me out even while on vacation. I bow down to the master.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone....despite my wife's thread ending up in something called FOO!

Picked the birthday bibs out today....Girodona....knicker bibs....fall is coming!
Some new Klein socks too. My machine is getting outfitted with a new set of red-line skins now...after a complete tune-up and cleaning I pick her up Monday afternoon....Time to get dressed up and pose with those new tires!
