why can't I get beer delivered?

I can pizza delivered but not beer... why? I'm staring sadly at my last Heinekein (btw i don't even capitalize the word god) and I'm wondering why it has to be my last... sigh... There must be a huge market for late night beer delivery.

Legal issues.

There's laws against it .

It's a lot easier to check ID's in an establishment then have some pimple faced pizza boy do it. So on and so forth.

If you want beer delivered stay at a decent hotel or resort and order room service

You've got three choices:
  1. Suck it up
  2. Go to the local Quicky Mart and buy a case (provided you haven't been drinking or have a sober friend)
  3. Buy more beer BEFORE you start drinking

Hey, be glad you can at least order online and have it delivered to you by package carrier....here in FL, it's illegal.

...still trying to find a loophole so I can get some good stuff over here...I'm sick of the very slim picking for ales and stouts I have seen so far.

Last time I was in Texas, you could load an empty keg on the back of your pickup, drive into a beer-station (think of a small drive-up carwash), order the beer you want and sit in your truck with the motor running while they run a hose into your keg. Wish they had that here in Cali.

There's always "World Of Beer" over by Clearwater Mall (Across the street from Hooter's and a few doors down from the Greyhound station.)

I just think it's funny that in that strip mall there's a Greyhound Bus Station, a Bible and Religious Supply store, and a Gun Store. If that doesn't scream "Welcome to Redneck Hell" I don't know what does

lol, you're speaking my language. yeah whiskey in genral isn't my friend anymore ever since drinking a little too much jameson in Ireland. Now I have a strong preference for clear hard liquor.. vodka/gin... not rum though... rum is still a sunovabiaytch!

You mean, in canada, we have one thing in regards to boozing that makes drinking easier. I can get booze delivered anytime, anyplace.

I get the cops to bring me beer. All you have to do is call 911 and tell them you're being attacked, and by the way you'd like some beer.

It's called a girlfriend... you make dinner, she brings you as much beer as you want... among other things...

Seems like in the old days (like I know anything about the old days ) one could order a taxi. And after ordering the taxi ask the dispatcher to have the cabbie run a package store to bring your favorite "cough syrup."

Of course, you never used the taxi for transportation.

damn it!! do you mean that Canada in that respect is actully more free then the US? god damn this country and what it is turning into!! I'm going to get on the first plane out of this country when some country rediscovers the meaning of freedom, capitalism, and individual rights!

bah! I'm sure i'll be dead before that day comes! For that reason, I will never have a shred of respect for humanity as a whole.
