Bad Luck!!!

Why me????
Ok, first I had a wonderful weekend I was just telling Superdex this.
I went mountain biking in Fruita, Colorado and any natives from Colorado know its a great place for mtbiking.
Well lastnight I was getting into the shower and I SLIPPED and FELL!!!! OMG, I was laughing but once I got out of the shower I noticed I had this HUGH bruise on my leg FRONT AND BACK, I mean its VERY BIG!!!
It wraps all the way around my leg to the back side. Ok, so that sucks so I put ice on it and take some pain killers.
Then this morning I woke up to be bitten by some kind of SPIDER!!! I have two hugh bites on my thigh, so I get to work and show one of my co-workers. Their like hmmmm, if I was you I would call your doctor.
So now both my legs are being medicated.
I always like to find the humor in my accidents but this is getting crazy!!! Every weekend I fall biking, or need to take the occasional leaps over my bikes or something crazy!!!

Ok, so CYCLEPRINCESS CAN I HAVE SOME COOKIES!!!

hmmmm, spider bites.
nasty stuff that.
I got nailed by a brown recluse on my forearm took quite a while
to fully heal (stun gun and antibiotics, I kid you not).
If the wound site doesn't begin to show signs of healing
in a week or so send me a PM.

hope you heal quickly.
take a day off and watch out for them showers. . .

Yes....spider bites can be nasty....I got bit by a spider when I was a kid...still had occasional pains in that finger for 10 years after that. Now I HATE spiders...they should ALL DIE!

Slow down, Snowy... maybe you're moving a mile a minute, even when off the bike. Shower spills are truly humiliating and I can relate to that. Thanks for sharing that You'll be all right.

About the spider, let's hope it was radioactive, as in Spiderman. When you take another spill on your bike or elsewhere, you'll bounce right up. Actually, your new Spidey senses should help you avoid these bumps and bruises

The ever chipper Snowy, girl, I'd hate to see what it takes to get you down! Mountain biking in Fruita is AWESOME, I can understand your response, still high on western slope biking.
Hope you heal soon, I use aloe vera jelly on bruises, helps them clear fast.

Omg, that would so freaking rock. You come barreling down a thin back road on a weekend and all of asudden your spidey sense goes off and you pull one of those off-road (on a road bike) moments that I did this weekend and you narrowly miss a pickup truck driving in the middle of the road.
