Screen print to the clipboard, paste into an image editor. The key varies from keyboard to keyboard. On my laptop it's a dedicated key on the top row; on others you have to press a function key.

Alt+PrtScn copies the currently active window, just pressing PrtScn copies the entire screen. Then open some image editing software and paste into it...

Buy a mac and use the grab program, saves the file to a TIFF... easy as cake... and you can only capture the window, etc.

Here's a handy screen-capture utility that lets you grab the entire screen, a single window or any particular area you want to mark. Also sends the capture to the clipboard or to a file of any graphics format you want.

MWSnap- screen capture utility
