Had to see the shrink (therapist) in LA today... someone thought it would be funny to take my photo on the way out... hmmm... now it is my avatar!

Enjoy!

Mandy

I would show a full shot but no one wants to see a 250 pound fast person in a tank top right?!
(What happens when you are off the bike for 4 months!

Hey Mandy, I'm with everyone on the hair, looks good. But I'm a bit confused. The later "guy" pic has short hair. Are you wearing a wig in the girl pic or was the guy pic taken a while ago.

Say Mandy,

How about you lighten up that avatar a bit?

Yes. Weather in the Inland Empire is still great, but I am wearing my winter shorts now.

The hair is not real, it is a wig, close to the same color. I am using it to play with style, and a few other things. My hair is being grown out but not fast enough. Both photos were taken on the same day actually.

Weather was great again today, but the wind is still nasty!

Anyone notice the foundation... a little dark me thinks, just noticed it. I guess I need a slightly lighter one.

Mandy

You definitely look better as a girl.

And thanks to you and Stacey now I have to wonder every time I see a big girl. . I used to be innocent, never thinking about that sorta thing... Today there was a woman behind me in line at a restaurant and she was almost as tall as me (6'4", although I later noticed she was in heels). See, I woulda just thought "That's a big woman" but now I wonder... Has she always been a woman?

Not that it matters, really.

So hey I'm a bit curious, you using padding there or are you growing breasts?

Great pic!

Can I say one thing?

Cut the crap about being fat and getting down on yourself. You look great how you do. Sure you can get back on your bike to lose a little, but DO NOT BECOME A SLAVE OF THE SCALE. Please, you look great no need to be Roberto heras thin

Much more a fan of the female pic compared to the male pic...

Can I be as skinny as him?

I keep on looking at that first photo. It is really hard to go between the two now. I want to stay "female" 24:7 but I know I am not quite ready for it yet, give me about 12 months and things will be different. I just got back from a bike ride, a lousy 14 miles but it is a start. The only way to loose the weight though is to start working on it... and it is coming for sure!

My father today told me in the car, your hands and feet are too big to be a girl, you are too big, your arms too long. I said, you might think that but I am who I am, and nothing else can change that...

Someone on the local support board said that she is 3 years post op and she wishes she had the skin and facial structure I do... that makes me smile from ear to ear. We are our own worse critics for sure... a 1 billion dollar industry in the United States is geared off of that premise. I can not wait to start growing my own breasts and seeing changes due to estrogen...

And to answer the question, they are not real, they are prostetisis, designed for crossdressers (Male to female). They feel like the real thing but are not part of you. Breasts are one of the biggest things I have been waiting for my entire life, the doctors are expecting large B or small C size... fine with me... ,.. although BRAs are another story!

Someone said that my guy picures looks like a butch girl (short hair, etc). With my facial structure I can see why... I just love my earrings!

Now off the the local department store to get a better match on foundation... hopefully when I am on estrogen the need for it will go down with time...

Thank You for your comments...

Mandy

v-dub,
I commend you on being so open on such a difficult part of your life. As you can see a vast majority of people here are behind you. Just be glad that with every day acceptance grows, even from the closed-minded. While I am sure it is still tough, I imagine doing what you're doing would be exponentialy more difficult 10, 20 or 30 years ago. Keep the positive outlook going, despite what some close to you might say.

I agree with most of the current consensus, you look better as a girl than as a guy. Part of it is that you look like you feel much more comfortable in the role of a woman than in that of a man, it shows on your face and makes a huge difference.

Be who you are, love those that love you back, and F*** the critics.

Um, I'll agree with the sentiment, but the choice of words could have been better.
