Yeah, what's the beef? Between Firefox and Safari, I'll take Safari anyday.

What, a bar of soap? The problem with it is the user interface blows. You can't scroll through the history in the address bar, and to delete an entire address, you need to hold the mouse down and run it across the whole thing. With any other browser, simply clicking on the address highlights the whole thing for easy deletion.

If you think I am a troll, consider that I have been here longer than you. Ass.

Well go figure that. I don't use it in that way. So no problem for me.

Hell, even if I did I wouldn't find it that bad. In fact, I love the way it does the history - I'm surprised you can't just use that as efficiently as the what-you-typed history in the address bar. That seems a bit archaic to me now.

Beats the crap out of the damn thing reloading a page every time I go back to it, like in Firefox.

But I guess if you use it heavily the way you do it might seem a pain.

Oh well. At least it's not IE

If you hit the back button and hold the mouse button down you will see that the whole history for that window opens up in a drop down window.

If you hit the browser address window and hold the mouse button down it will highlight the full address.

No ya don't. Click on the little icon at the left end of the address; the whole address will highlight.

And I assume you've got Apple's anachronistic 1-button mouse. Hold down the CONTROL key and click to get the equivalent of a right-click menu. I think you can click and hold on the back button to get your history, too.

    did

Macintosh is superior to windows in every shape and form.

Don't be jealous. I have both safari and internet explorer, I choose safari.

My only problem with Safari is that it doesn't allow me to selectively disable certain content types. More specifically, the horribly annoying MIDI tunes that virtually every poorly designed web site shoots into your unsuspecting ears...

Other than that, I find Safari to be better than any other browser I've used, including Firefox.

The only times I use M$IE or Firefox, are when I need to access sites where the coders were hired straight out of maternity wards, and as infants, lack the ability to create non-browser-specific code!
