It's obviously an autographed self-portrait! Just gotta figure out a way to decode that circle of data next to the picture...

Most crop-circles can be debunked as man-made, but there's the small 1-2% that can't be explained that's fascinating. Like the one in England where the pilot noticed the empty field on an incoming flight. Then on the outgoing flight just 45-minutes later, there it was, a complex pattern of rings, swirls that covered hundreds of acres. And no one saw anything! Examinations of the bent crops showed that they weren't trampled and broken over, the fibres in in the stalks were continuous and elongated on one side, like they GREW into the bent state... hmmm.....

    Phototropism.

I think it's all BS, really. The pilot could have had a glare on the windscreen or simply wasn't looking out the right side.

Cropo circls are debunkt. Sorry but advanced aliens would not travel hundreds of years to reach our solar system to smash the crops into a pattern.

I figure if there is life out there, crop circles might be the alien equal to cow tipping.

I always thought that it was the equivalent of marking territory, kind of like how dogs and gangbangers mark their turf.

I thought a group of people finally admitted to making those original crop circles, no?

I think cow tipping since it's

    1) temporary

    2) they can sit up in their UFOs somewhere and laugh at all the hoopla that's caused over it "Heh, Glorbat...look at all these stupid humans freaking out over that crop mutation we pulled last night! That's almost as funny as the time we sent to Forgil-6 and dropped a giant frozen ball of excrement in some guy's backyard!"

...If there is intelligent life out there, they probably have a very demented sense of humor, and are currently taking pleasure out of messing with us.

Except he's just the one that reported it. People went out there to investigate and no one in the area saw anything suspicious during the time-frame that the circles appeared. And how does just the plants in the pattern show effects of lateral phototropism and grow sideways in just 1-hour? It's this unexplained stuff that brings up a lot of questions..

Saw a report recently that indicated that scientologists were making crop circles as an alien attractant... no idea how true it is.
